报告摘要：Why Google can get massive webpage data and how it can judge how important or valuable a webpage might be? Applying the ideas of connections and relationships to various data, graph theory method can help reveal the nature of the data itself, and tell us what relates and what doesn’t, and what’s important and what isn’t. In this talk, we will explain how to understand big data by graph theory.

闫桂英研究员简介：中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院研究员，博士生导师。毕业于山东大学数学系运筹学专业。分别于1989年、1992年和1995年在山东大学获得理学学士、硕士和博士学位。1995年6月至1997年2月在中国科学院应用数学研究所做博士后。现任中科院国家数学与交叉科学中心副主任。国务院政府特殊津贴获得者。
